July editorial: Very good first semester | Time to recharge batteries

Q2 and the first semester of 2018 have now passed and we are right in the vacation period (before or after it for some of us). Enjoying a few days of rest will be good for those who’ve not done so yet or are about to… and I hope those who’ve already enjoyed them found the same. In fact, deseasonalization and flexibility (both in production and in operations) are helping to push the August period away from being one of stoppage (except for the week around the 15th when everything does come to a standstill): now, rather, many projects continue, and some new ones even start. In our case, our Consulting team started work on two Strategic Plans and a Branding Plan, and the latter also involves our creative team at Imagine Creative Ideas. In addition, both our Marketing Outsourcing and Digital Services teams are carrying out several new projects for clients, as well as preparing starts for clients with whom we will start to work in September.

This first semester has been very important for Lifting Group, not only because we have grown more than 60% in total volume of business (taking all the units of Lifting Group into account), but also because we have continued advancing on the rollout of our Strategic Plan 18/20, we have changed our offices in Madrid, we have presented ourselves again for the Google Partner Premier Awards, and we are about to launch our own audiovisual producer, OTTO Films, in September.

In addition, this year, I have been able to work together with a team of 8 people in 4 sessions of Design Thinking, with which, this month, July, we have been reviewing how we can make Lifting a better place for our team, how we can improve our services and continue consolidating our WHY and Values, principally our COMMITMENT TO THE CLIENT. I’m finishing with these ideas and tasks so that these days of rest serve to channel us towards our improvement objective defined in the Strategic Plan.

Have a good summer!

PS: I’m sharing some images of our summer event, with a brilliant day full of activities all of us enjoyed.
